On the eve of the war, I had started a project, The Bricks of Being. I made several pieces, the last one on February 24, 2022. A week later we left Kharkiv, and the work had not gone to the kiln yet. I went abroad with my kid to my parents, and my husband returned to Kharkiv later and firied my pieces, among them were these bricks.
Near us, there were many explosions, but our house remained intact; it was shaking a little, some things would fall down, but nothing got broken.
